Lipid signalling as a therapeutic target

Muscle regeneration, aging and senescence

Our published work has identified lipid-signalling pathways associated with cellular senescence and impaired tissue function. Current studies examine how these pathways can be interrogated pharmacologically in muscle and senescence models.

Translational direction

Mechanistic studies are combined with cellular phenotyping to determine whether modulation of lipid signalling can improve regenerative outcomes. Compound structures, optimisation strategy and assay-development details are withheld while intellectual-property work proceeds.
