Bioengineered human muscle
Human tissue models
Bioengineered human muscle provides a controlled tissue-scale system for investigating development, injury, repair and treatment response. It creates a human experimental context in which molecular changes can be read directly against tissue function.
Functional and neuromuscular models
The platform reports functional measurements, including contractile force, alongside quantitative imaging and molecular profiling. It is being extended to motor neuron–muscle co-cultures and multiplexed assays for modelling sarcopenia and studying differential treatment responses relevant to precision medicine.
